15 months old!

Nora is 15 months old!

As usual, I can't believe how the time is flying by!  She is getting so big and doing so much.  She is truly amazing, each and every day!

Nora went to the doctor today for her 15 month well-baby visit.  Dr. Garza said she looks great!!  Nora had to get a few shots, but she handled it like a champ. Her weight is starting to level out a bit (yay!!) and she's finally under the 100% for her weight.  Granted, she's at the 98%, but still...it's moving it the right direction.  Nora is wearing size 18month clothes and size 5 shoes!

Length: 31 inches (70%)

Head: 19 3/4 inches (>100%)

Nora has 18 teeth already too!! Her canine teeth have been working their way out over the past few weeks, and she even had her first trip to the dentist!  We have been working on brushing her teeth, and she actually helps now.  She is still a great eater, but not lima beans!  No way!  She will spit those out every time!  My favorite thing is that she still makes her happy eating noises!  Nora is also working on using utensils, but she's got a long way to go there still!

 Nora is doing all the things that she should be developmentally.  Nora is certainly keeping us on our toes!  She can point to her head, nose, tummy and toes when asked (and usually ours too).  She "talks" constantly, but the only real words are mama and up (which means up and out) - although I think she said bye a few days ago too. She will follow simply instructions and she tries to copy things we do.  She starting "skipping" although it looks more like a "trot" of sorts, and she twirls too.  It is so cute! Nora has also started climbing, which is not my favorite! She is very stubborn, which I am sure is not surprising to any of you!  She wants what she wants, when she wants it, and not a second later! Her tantrums are quite entertaining too...

Nora loves to read...books are her absolute favorite thing.  Trips to the library are her favorite.  Her daddy loves to take her there!  She even went to toddler story time at the library last week.

Nora is really just about the sweetest baby in the world!  We are all so totally in love with her!
