Happy Birthday Nora!

Today was Nora's 2nd Birthday!  I can't believe my sweet baby girl is 2 already...yikes! She is doing so much now and growing up so fast.

This morning I was woken by the sound of Woody's pull string comment "There's a snake in my boot."  I opened my eyes and noticed that the light was on in Nora's room.  She had woken up, turned on her light, gotten her Jessie and Woody and was sitting on the floor beside her bed playing with them.  I stood back and watched her play for a minute, just allowing myself to be amazed by her.  I am amazed by her every day...a million times a day!

I let her have whatever she wanted for breakfast.  She chose cereal and bacon.  Sounds perfect!  This girl makes hilarious faces!

 

Then we headed to My Gym for some play time with Logan and Amelia (who Nora calls "Mina").  She loves her cousins and they all love My Gym!

We are having Nora's birthday party on February 22nd so we can do a joint party for the girls between their birthdays.  So we decided just to have the family over for dinner tonight to celebrate Nora's special day.  Sara and Eric both had to work, so they missed all the fun!!  We ordered pizza and got a cake from NothingBundtCakes...then Nora got to open her presents!  She loved her gifts!

She got a few more Toy Story toys to go with her Jessie and Woody from Christmas!

I think she wants to watch Toy Story now!

Nora had a great day!  I know I have said this a million times over the last couple of years, but I am still so unbelievably happy that we have our little Nora!  Even when she's been super stubborn (all the time) or mean (she has quite a temper) or she won't go to sleep when I am SO TIRED...I love her more than anything!  I can barely remember my life without her.  We came so close to not being able to have any children and I am so grateful to have her...I can't even explain it.  There are truly no words for how much we appreciate what we have in our sweetness Nora.  She makes our little family whole and our lives complete.
