Heartbeat

Today we went back to TFC for an ultrasound with Dr. Hansard.  We have been looking forward to this since the day we saw "pregnant" on the home pregnancy test!  I have been so reluctant to believe that I really am pregnant.  Everything little thing leaves me wondering if I'm just imagining it...but now I can be sure!  Although I'm pretty sure the morning sickness has almost convinced me already :)

We have a little blueberry and it has a heartbeat!!  A heartbeat already!  We were able to see the little blueberry on the ultrasound (measuring 10.3mm from crown to rump) and we could even SEE the little heart beating!  It was amazing :)  The heartrate was 144, and it was probably the most wonderful sound I have ever heard...not that I could really hear it well over Logan SCREAMING in the background!  Tuesday is my day with him and he did not want to be at the doctor with me.  He screamed the entire time I was getting my ultrasound and talking to my RE.  He certainly is 2 now...

Our due date is February 4, 2013.  Mark your calendar for the arrival of baby McGaughey!!
