Week 7

So we are 7 weeks along now...this is going by faster than I expected!  According to my baby development emails the baby is the size of a blueberry now.  A blueberry!  My uterus has double in size too...amazing!  Why my uterus needs to be twice as big to support something the size of a blueberry, I don't understand but I don't really care as long as it is indeed supporting my little blueberry.  I also don't understand how something so small can make me nauseated all the time and have to pee 3 times a night!  Geez!  The baby is also starting to develop little arm and leg buds and all the body systems are continuing to develop.  The brain is developing 100 new brain cells a minute!  I just think this is so awesome...I think Shawn thinks I'm nuts :)

No weekly bloodwork this week but I will be going tomorrow to see my RE for my first ultrasound :)  Then I should be cleared to start seeing my regular OB.  I am ready for regular.

Yesterday was Father's Day and technically it was Shawn's frist one!  My mom and I each got him a Father-to-be card.  He was so surprised.  The look on his face was priceless.  I love my Shawn and he is going to be a wonderful father!
