Baby Shower!

Mimi and Mom threw me the best baby shower today!  It was all book themed...food related to all of our favorite children's books.  Such a cute idea :)

Some Swedish Fish to go with "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish."

Cookies and milk to go with "If you Give a Mouse a Cookie."

Pickles to go with "Pickle Things." - Seriously my favorite book from my childhood!

A cake with "Noisy Nora."  - Another of my favorites :)

Veggies to go with "The Hungry Caterpillar."

Cheetos to go with "Lily's Purple Plastic Purse."

Fruit and dip to go with "Curious George."

Oatmeal (that we didn't cook, just displayed) with "Don't Forget the Oatmeal."

Goldfish crackers with "Brown Bear."

Moon Pies with "Goodnight Moon"

Madelines to go with "Mad About Madeline."

Donut holes to go with "If you Give a Dog a Donut."

Cupcakes with purple drizzle swirl to go with "Harold and the Purple Crayon."

There were also some meatballs to go with "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." Hot Chocolate to go with "The Polar Express."  Chicken salad sandwiches to go with "The Teddy Bear's Picnic."  Basically a super cute theme with TONS of yummy food!!  It was really great!

We got some really great gifts for Nora too!  Thanks to everyone who came and also to those who couldn't be with us and sent something!  We really appreciate all the love we felt today!!

I think most everyone has gotten the hint that I like purple for Nora :)  haha!  There was so much purple stuff!!  And even some super hero stuff for her, which made her dad happy!

So we're 33 weeks now.  Moving along well!  Still not having any issues except terrible heartburn and minor ankle swelling on work days.  I feel like my belly is getting huge and can't get any bigger, but I know it will.  We'll see if I make it to 40 weeks!

On a side note...Marcie was such a good girl at the shower!  Then everyone left and she peed upstairs in the hallway!  Oh it will be fun when the baby comes...
