The nursery is really starting to come together...which is great because she's going to be here before we know it!!! The glider from Dad and Ana arrived...I put it together today and it is perfect! Marcie still loves to lay on Nora's beautiful area rug!
I think I managed to get the stuff from the shower all put away too...although I still need to wash stuff. I made a pillow for the glider that matches the curtains too.
Absolutely LOVE this blanket. The colors match the nursery perfectly and it is so soft! Shawn doesn't really understand why we have a blanket like this if we aren't going to use it for the baby. I tried to explain that for now it is just a pretty decoration, but she'll be able to use it when she's not an infant anymore. I think I am going to try to put it up on the wall while she's a baby because it's so beautiful!
PUPPPS.
Heard of it?
I hadn't. Until now. And I don't like it!
It is pruitic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy.
Sounds nice, right?
NOPE!
Basically it is a rash on my belly and my hips that ITCHES LIKE MAD! All the time itching! It's driving me crazy! I ran into my OB at work the other day when I was scratching it and she told me to call the office to get in to see someone. Boo. I did though and they ordered some blood tests (just to be sure it isn't something more serious) and called in a prescription for an antihistamine to take at night so I can sleep because the itching is keeping me up. The midwife also suggested a "home remedy" that is supposedly a miracle to get rid of PUPPPS. I went to buy the stuff today and will do it tomorrow.
PUPPPS Remedy:
2 capsules of activated charcoal, 3 times during the day
6-8 Tbsp liquid chlorophyll (in 32 ounces of water sipped throughout the day)
2000 mg Vitamin C, divided through the day
Sounds weird...but I'll try it! I'll let you know it if it works.
