Happy New Year!

I know we're already quite a bit into this new year...but Nora wanted to say Happy New Year!

What a year 2013 was for our family!!

Our precious Nora was born in January, starting off the year with the best gift ever!!  She has become such a part of our lives, we can't imagine what we would do without her now!  She has such a personality and is truly a joy to be around.  I honestly never thought I could love anyone so much.  She makes me happy every morning when I wake up, just seeing her beautiful smile.  She's certainly got a taste of "old child" syndrome starting already, so we're just going to have to make sure that she spends as much time as possible with the cousins until she gets a brother or sister.  We would like for her to have a sibling before too long, but Shawn and I agree that it should wait until I finish grad school (for my sanity!).  Since babies don't happen naturally for us, there won't be any "accidents" until we're ready for Baby McGaughey #2 to join our family.  Probably in 2015 sometime.

The rest of 2013 was a bit of a blur, but we did have a few other highlights.

* Miss Amelia was born so we got our first niece :)

* Sara moved to Texas, so now my mom has all her children together again!

* Shawn turned the big 30!

* We learned that Marcie Moo is allergic to EVERYTHING :(

* Logan started school and STARTED TALKING!  Woohoo!

2013 is a year we will never forget.  The year of Nora!
