Nora is now eleven months old!!
This little lady is a ball of energy with so much personality!! She surprises us and makes us laugh every day. We all have such a great time with her. She's been sick quite a bit over the last few weeks, but she's still so pleasant and happy during the day, just a bit clingy. It's the nights that are rough...on all of us - but especially me!
Weight: 27 pounds 12 ounces
Length: 29 1/2 inches
Head: 19 1/4 inches
Her weight gain is definitely slowing down but she's still getting so tall! She looks like a little girl now and not a baby anymore :( She's wearing 12 month tops and 18 month pants. She still fits in her 12 month jammies, but they're starting to get a bit snug. She wears a size 3-4 shoe too. She's just getting so big!!
Nora crawls at amazing speeds now and she stands and "walks" around by holding on to things. She has taken a few steps several times now too! She'll be walking anytime...oh no! She also points to things she wants. It's adorable. Nora is talking so much too! She says mom, mama, dada, yes, yeah, and tete (what we call her pacifier). She loves to play with her cousins! She gets so excited when they come over to play! She and Amelia actually do play together too...it's so cute!
Nora has been weaning herself off the breast a bit too quickly for me :( At least I know I won't have trouble weaning her completely when the time comes. She still breastfeeds in the morning and usually at bedtime. Not much during the day though. She loves eating table food though and I rarely give her purees now. She basically eats whatever we eat! Nora loves hotdogs, cheese, crackers (or any other bread product), pancakes, sweet potatoes, peas...well there are lots of other things too! She's just a great eater, and still makes her happy eating noises. I love those! She also drinks from a straw and we use her Camelbak water bottle mostly when we're out. She's getting more teeth already too...a molar!! She had had her front 8 teeth for quite awhile now, but I didn't think we'd have to worry about molars yet. I was wrong!! It is taking that HUGE tooth forever to come in too and Nora's been a bit of a crab about it. It didn't help that she's getting this huge tooth at the same time she's been sick. Pobre cita!
Nora's just growing up too quickly...I need to figure out how to make it stop! She's too independent...I wonder where she got that ;)
