Sorry I've been a horrible blogger lately...but I have been crazy busy! School has been a lot of work this semester and if that isn't enough, I just got a promotion at work :) I am a Supervisor of my NICU now, which means I will be going back to working full time starting on the week of November 8th. This is really a good thing because my degree will be in Nursing Management when I'm done in May (yay!) so moving up in management is really what I need to do. The timing isn't perfect (it would have been great if it had happened after I finished school) but I'll get through. Nora will start going to daycare 3 days a week in November so that I'll be able to work more and still get all my school work done. I'm tired already just thinking about it.
In other news...Nora went into a real toddler bed tonight! I have been wanting to get her out of her crib-converted-to-toddler-bed now that she's used to it and I found a perfect little bed on Craigslist that came with a nice Serta mattress! It was perfect! I had obviously been in a little girl's room because the ends of the bed frame had marker and crayon marks and you could tell parts had been painted over as "patches." Nothing my electric sander and a fresh coat of paint couldn't fix in one afternoon!
She went right to bed too...we'll see how the whole night goes though. Update tomorrow :)
