Two months old!!

Nora is now 2 months old!!  

Where has the time gone?  I can't believe it has been 2 months already!  She is growing and changing so fast...makes me kind of sad :(  She is such a happy girl, always smiling and "talking" to us.  We can't get enough of her!  She's holding her head up really well and during her photo shoot with Rufus McBear she even tried to pull herself up to sit more upright.  Amazing.  She has starting putting on the pounds for sure too...but I'm not sure why because she's only being breastfed!  I guess I just make really good milk or else the terribly slow metabolism that runs in my family has been passed on to her already.  Her Auntie Mimi likes to comment about how chubby she is...she's just a meanie though.  I had to start her in the 3-6 month clothes because her thighs are so fat!

Today we went to the pediatrician for her 2 month check up.  She looks great...just a bit chubby :)

Weight: 15 lbs 13 oz  (This is greater than the 95%...woah!)
Length: 23 1/2 inches (88%)
Head: 16 1/2 inches (greater than 95%)

So basically I have a huge baby!  More like a 4 month old in size.  Since we're still just breastfeeding, she recommended trying to get her to go longer at night (she typically sleeps 6-7 hours now) and to increase her activity during the day.  More tummy time and other types of playtime.  So we'll see if we can't keep her from gaining too much weight this month.
