Nora has been walking, walking, walking and she's getting pretty stable but she still has some falls. She gets right back up and starts again though. She's a pretty tough girl! Unfortunately, on her birthday last Friday she hit her face on the edge of a shelf on the bookcase (I think...) and banged up her face pretty badly :( I had just spilled my entire, fresh cup of coffee in the kitchen and was trying to wipe it up quickly when I heard the screaming.
This is not long after she hit her face...it got so swollen so fast!! She looked like a creature from Star Trek
It was looking much better by Monday...the swelling had gone way down but the bruising was getting worse :(
Today it looks much, much better! The swelling is just about gone and the bruising is mostly on the sides of her nose near the inner aspect of her eye. Not too bad!
So she survived her first major injury (and it was on my watch...).
