Shawn and I decided we would take a family vacation this summer to the beach. Shawn loves the beach...for me, it's not my first vacation choice. But, next vacation I get to pick the location! We were hoping that Shawn's parents would be able to come with us, but that didn't work out. Maybe next time! Shawn really wanted to take Nora to the beach so we made our plans.
I found a really awesome condo to rent for the week on a website called Homeaway.com where you can search for condos or houses or whatever. So we found a condo near the beach and we rented it for a week. It was a nice place for a great price. We got a 2 bedroom so that the wonderful Theresa could come with us!! So she flew to Austin and then we drove to South Padre Island in early June.
We had a blast! Here are some highlights.
