A few days ago, Amelia and Logan came over the for the day and the three kiddos enjoyed making Christmas Cutout Sugar Cookies and reading a Holiday story about Christmas Cookies. I found the book that prompted this activity at Hallmark. It's called: There's Snow Time Like Cookie Time.
I thought it would be fun to read this story, roll out the cookie dough and cut out cookies, then decorate the cookies with frosting. Although there were some bumps along the way, the kids had fun!
Logan started it all off with a tantrum...but Nora seemed interested.
Then no one seemed interested in the story.
Well, I guess the girls are interested.
Now for the fun part...cookie cut outs!!
After the baking (and Logan returning from his total melt down) came the frosting and decorating!
Amelia was uninterested in the frosting.
Logan just lightly frosted his, then let me eat it.
Nora was just eating the frosting with a spoon...
