Merry Christmas 2015: Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas here in Texas.

Although none of our family from the Midwest was able to visit, they were here in spirit!!  Hopefully next year we'll have some Christmas visitors (or maybe some of the grandparents will just move here before then....)

Christmas Eve

We decided that doing big dinners on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was going to be too much work, so we went out to the Chinese Buffet for Christmas Eve.  Great decision!  It was so easy, and who doesn't like the Chinese Buffet?

The kiddos get to open one gift on Christmas Eve. This year we decided which present to let them open based on the gift that Amelia has been desperate to have for the past few months...

It's Blue Baby!!

Anna for Logan and Jasmine for Nora!

The kids LOVED their dolls!

Time to assemble the annual Cookie Tree!  Eric wasn't able to help me this year, for the first time ever.  Boo.  But he was spending Christmas Eve with his girlfriend's family, so I guess its ok.  Especially because we love Allison! Nora decided to help me instead.

She started to reconsider her decision to help when she realized we wouldn't be eating the cookies yet...

I guess eating some of the actual Christmas Trees would be ok though.

Finished Cookie Tree! A masterpiece, as always!

One of Santa's elves dropped a very special gift for the kids too!

COW CHOCOLATE MILK!!!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Christmas pajamas for the kids!

Popcorn, hot cocoa and watching the Grinch!

The Night Before Christmas!

The kids are ready for Santa!

Time for put out the milk and cookies for Santa at the McGaughey house... Nora was smart and decided to leave a couple of Guinness for Santa and an elf too :)  She's so thoughtful!

Once Nora was in bed, Santa came quite quickly (he was tired too) and everything was set for Nora's Christmas morning surprise!

We're ready for Christmas!
