What a great day! Nora turned 3 a few weeks ago and Amelia will be 3 in a couple of weeks, so today was the day for their joint party...and it was awesome!
It was perfect weather for a petting zoo!! We hired Fry's Fun Farm and they were amazing!! I can't recommend them enough. They were right on time, they brought adorable animals, the two guys were super nice and friendly and really great with the kids, and it really was reasonably priced for what we got. It was Mimi's idea, and it was a great one.
We tried to get a picture of the girls together before the party...these are the best we could do.
Once the truck arrived and they started unloading animals, it got super exciting at my back door. I'm pretty sure that Allison was just as excited (if not more excited) than the kiddos.
Time to start playing with the animals! They brought several small/baby goats (super adorable), lambs, ducks, a goose, chickens and a rooster, a baby pig, and lot of bunnies! There was water for the animals and lots of feed for the kids to feed them. Also, about halfway through, they brought out bottles of milk for the baby goats and let the birthdays girls give them milk. It was amazing and the kids all LOVED it! Again...I'm pretty sure Allison had the most fun though :) #nevertoogrownupforapettingzoo
We decided to get donuts instead of cake, so we had a TON of donut holes and then made each girl their own "cake" out of 3 stacked donuts. It was a hit!
We tried for a shot of the kids together...we did manage to get a couple with a bunch of the 3 year olds. Such a cute bunch of kids! We had a great turn out too! Nora was extra excited because a few of her friends from school came. She can't wait to have them over again to play. Several of the kids wandered upstairs during the party and pulled out just about every toy Nora owns. Gotta love kids! They had fun though. I know exactly what to get Jocelin and Philip for their birthdays now.
Thanks to everyone that came out to help us celebrate these two amazing little ladies! They were so glad to that you all were there and I think everyone had a blast. We even got a couple of cute babies there :)
The girls loved the presents (as did Logan...he thinks all of their stuff is his) and there was no fighting until the last present was opened. Then Nora lost her shit...then Amelia...then Logan. It was a full out breakdown, cry fest! All because the My Little Pony Castle only came with 2 ponies! Haha. This has been rectified now. Additional ponies have been purchased already.
End of party tired faces.
Thanks again to everyone who came...and to those who couldn't make it but sent presents for the girls. They absolutely do not need a thing and we are all so grateful to have so many people in our lives that LOVE our kiddos! We think they're pretty awesome.
