Threenager

I've heard the term "threenager" before, but I was never really able to understand it until recently.  The terrible twos...whatever!!  Three is way more interesting, and not always in a good way!

The full blown temper tantrums.

The screaming.

The non-stop talking.

The split personality.

The independence.

The contradictions.

The hugs and kisses.

The adorable faces.

The horrible, angry faces.

It probably doesn't help that she's been sick, but Nora has been SO WHINY lately!  She is super happy one minute and then crazy mad the next.  It is insane! Dinner has been horrible lately.  She asks for something, then as soon as its ready she insists that she wants something else. Then she won't eat anything, but cries for dessert.  Oh my.  Will we survive?

In other news, potty training is continuing to go really well!!  Nora is accident free all week and that includes at school!  She is still wearing a Pull Up at night, but she does wake up during the night to go potty sometimes. The pooping in the potty is still a work in progress...but we are making a tiny bit of progress there.  Nora is so proud of herself every time she goes potty...she wants to show everyone! The big challenge will come on Friday.  We are driving to Dallas (about 3 hours) to stay for a couple of days.  Blackhawks game on Saturday!!  So I'm a little worried about the drive and going potty.  Nora is so independent, she doesn't really tell us when she needs to go potty, she just goes.  But in the car she's going to have to tell us... I hope it goes well!
