While I was in labor, Shawn mentioned that if my labor took much longer he would have to take back my present and exchange it. I had no idea what he was talking about at the time, but once Nora was finally born and he gave me my present, all made sense.
This necklace is her birthstone...so if she had been born on her due date (or if we hadn't had the c-section and had waited for my labor to progress on its own) it would have been a different month!! I love my necklace! Thanks to the best husband ever!
