When I was pregnant, 2 of my coworkers were also pregnant. The three of us spend a lot of time together at work because they are both on our PICC team (which means they attend high risk deliveries and are the right-hand man for the charge nurse) and I am typically the charge nurse. The three of us spend many days working together to admit a new baby. Several times we thought the parents were going to think you had to be pregnant to work in our NICU since often the first 3 people they would meet would be the 3 of us :) Lynne and Corinna were due very close together about 6 weeks ahead of me. They ended up delivering a day apart, a boy and a girl. Blake and Lexi. All three of us were having our first baby and we are all just about the same age, so it was really a fun experience to go through the adventure that is pregnancy together...plus Jeff (Lexi's daddy) works in the same job as Shawn for the same company but at a different store. So basically we have lots in common. We were all able to compare or pregnancy symptoms, complain about pregnancy, gush about how excited we were to be mothers soon, and eat together of course! I don't know about them, but I really enjoyed sharing my pregnancy experience with both of them!
We've talked about getting all the babies together since they were born, but since I live so far south in Austin and they both live in the northern suburbs of Austin, it just hasn't really worked out. Finally today, Corinna and I were able to get our little ladies together for the first time! Corinna and I both work weekend plan (so we work every Saturday and Sunday together) so we talk about or girls constantly to each other. I felt like I already knew Lexi, but today I got to spend some time with her! I think the girls had a great time together! I knew they would because they are both loud, rambunctious, super active girls. Next time hopefully we can have Blake there too!

Jeff got a little time holding the girls too. Nora's a bit heavier than he's used to though, although Nora is just about the same height as Lexi. She's definitely more round though :) We all hope that someday they'll both get some hair!
Then it was my turn to play with Lexi! She was totally fascinated with my necklace. We had such a nice time and I can't wait to get the girls together again...next time maybe we can get the dogs together for a play date too :) Marcie would love to meet Bentley!
