Sweet Berry Farm

Today we went on an adventure to Marble Falls, Texas.  Mimi and I recently heard about a place called Sweet Berry Farm, we looked it up, then we decided we had to go!  We decided to go this week because Shawn is on vacation (or stay-cation as he is calling it) and Ian took a half day at work, so after lunch we were off!

We had such a great day!

Logan really enjoyed The Berry Bounce...

Then we browsed the pumpkin selection.
Logan wanted a really big pumpkin...

He couldn't lift it though, so he found one that was a bit smaller.  This one is just his size, and he LOVES it!

Logan was such a good helper too.  He wanted to help Uncle Shawn push the wheelbarrow with our pumpkins.

We tried for some pictures of Nora with the pumpkins, but she wasn't a big fan of the grass or the pumpkins at first.  I tried putting her on the blanket, but it didn't really help much.  So I stood her up and held her hand.  Slight improvement.

Amelia didn't mind at all!

Maybe if we put them together?
Much better!

Wait...Amelia!  What are you doing??

Ewwww...that's gross Amelia!

Noooooo!

Ok...Let's try Nora again by herself.
Beautiful!

Time to feed the goats!
Logan loves this part.

It turns out, Nora does too!  She wasn't afraid of the goats at all!!  One even nibbled her finger and she laughed :)

Crazy goats!

Amelia just watched the action from her stroller for awhile...

Then it was her turn to meet the goats!

Nora is getting so independent!!  She wanted to stand up by herself.

Mimi put Amelia's shoes on so she could stand by the goats...but she never wears shoe and thus was totally fascinated by them (and the dirt and straw!)

Finally we decided to go find the Sweet Berry Express Barrel Train.  We though for sure Logan would want to ride.  He thought it looked cool.  He watched.  He would not ride.  Even after Mimi and Shawn got in....he just watched it for awhile longer with Ian.

We picked some pretty flowers!

We had a great day...if only it hadn't been so freakin' hot!!  It does not feel like fall yet :(
